The Airlinica Web site
A Web site about the Bangkok US Embassy
A place to Find Law resources

It is acceptably apparent that I have stumbled upon another amazing resource to help people find what they are looking for. It's called a search engine, which is better than a directory because search engines don't have the stringent requirements that directories do. Search engines "crawl" the Web, looking for new Web pages, and they index everything they find. I think this could be the wave of the future, although I don't see how they will make money since they provide their information for free.

When I was looking for a way to buy airline tickets online I found out that many people are afraid to share their credit card information. But for years no one cared about letting store clerks take an imprint of their credit cards. Even if you tore up the hard copies and carbon paper, you still had to leave the clerk holding one good copy of your credit card information and your signature. If you ask me, I think I would rather use the Internet. But I hope they come up with a secure way of using credit information.

When I go out of town I always take some pocket money with me just in case, but wouldn't it make more sense to take a debit card? If we could just buy a card for a cerain amount of money, we would be able to track our expenses better. Maybe some day someone will start selling little debit cards for like $25 or $50.

President Clinton has been fiscally responsive but I think he probably takes too much credit for the success of Internet companies. The stock market looks like it will keep going strong well into the 2000s and I hope I have done the right thing by investing in solid companies like WorldCom, Enron, and Excite.
